Jonesing for Jones

Patrick Schoenmaker has made an incredible trailer for a project I wish would happen more than just about anything I can think of–an animated Indiana Jones. This trailer has everything: incredible animation, cool transitions, and John Williams-like score. It sells the potential series perfectly and could even serve as the opening credits.

Who can make this happen? Someone? Anyone? Disney?

The Avengers vs Donald Trump

Writer/Director Joss Whedon has created a new Super PAC called Save the Day. It’s described as “a short-form digital production company dedicated to the idea that voting is a necessary and heroic act.” Basically, Whedon asked an all-star list of celebrities to help him create a PSA-style video about the importance of voting. The result is a pretty fun combination of self-effacing silliness, overly serious-seriousness and bribery in the shape of Mark Ruffalo going full monty in his next flick.

The “shit-ton” of celebrities include Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg and the aforementioned Mark Ruffalo from the Avengers, Martin Sheen and Bradley Whitford fromThe West Wing, along with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Julianne Moore, Jessie Williams, James Franco, Ashley Johnson, Stanley Tucci, Keegan-Michael Key and many more.
