I really wanted a national championship this year for Illinois. This team of destiny reached their goal of a Final Four berth and made it farther than any other Illinois team in history, but couldn’t finish the job. They are the best Illinois basketball team ever; better than the ’89 team.
I don’t believe it.- Dennis McDevitt, my Dad. It was by far the best final four minutes of basketball I have ever witnessed. A few days later, It still stuns me how the Fighting Illini Men’s Basketball team came back and won a contest that by most accounts was over.
I’m changing my comics buying. It is my only vice, addiction and habit. I don’t smoke, rarely drink and never use drugs. I don’t spend money at strip clubs (…anymore) and I don’t play video games.
It’s sure been a great ride so far with Illinois Basketball. I’ve seen the orange blur of Dee Brown, the glare off of James Augestine’s head as he slams a dunk, Deron Williams and Luther Head sink treys to their heart’s content and the “Reverend” Roger Powell, Jr.
“The future… the undiscovered country.” Shakespeare said that or maybe it was some bald Klingon. The future of movies this year seems one of the best in recent memory. There are several movies that I’m dying to see.
