It’s the last day of the year, but a new day dawns. What will I make of it?
Today means a great deal to me. It’s the last day of the year, of course. However, it’s also my mother’s birthday and the day I lost my right eye in a freak accident. My accident isn’t something I think about on a daily basis. I was only eight years old.

The wait is over. Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally arrived in the cineplexes. The verdict? A record breaking weekend and many happy fans. The Force Awakens delivers on many different levels. However, I think the most important feat of the movie is the casting and performance of Daisy Ridley as Rey.
